In other news, the bf and I tried out a new LFR group, Pirates of the Prairies on Saturday. My drow scout may only be level 1, but I did manage to get a giant ant mount. Made the fact that I thought I was going to pass out from bad ventilation and worse Wendy's chicken nuggets worth it!

Dungeon Master Screen
Over Friday and Saturday, my lovely boyfriend got me a couple of presents for no reason at all. The first (and less exciting in terms of the blog) was a new pair of pants. The second was the new Deluxe Dungeon Master's Screen
. I have to say I'm impressed! I haven't had a chance to see it in action yet (fingers crossed for my Gamemastery Flip-mat
to arrive this week if my makes it here by Friday), but I spend some time staring at it over the weekend and can't wait to try it out! The info on the inside will come in very handy for someone who us new to DMing, like myself (I'm not sure how much the old pros would use it), plus the illustration on the player side is pretty sweet. While I haven't tried it out in a game situation yet, I definitely recommend it. (image from http://roleplayerschronicle.com)

I tried to leave a comment the other day, but county computers have issues, I guess.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I like the Screen, and plan on getting one, even though I don't plan on playing 4e anytime soon.
And good luck with your site!
